The business needed a multi-location website capable of showing localised LPG pricing based on customer area, expected usage and validation checks, while giving administrators clear visibility of quote activity.
Solution
A custom WordPress plugin was developed to handle area-based pricing, usage-led quote logic, postcode validation, existing customer checks and back-end activity reporting.

The LPGUK website was developed as a multi-location WordPress platform designed to support localised LPG pricing and quote generation.
Rather than presenting a single generic price, the website uses a custom WordPress plugin to calculate and present pricing based on the customer’s area, postcode and expected usage. This allows the quote journey to be more relevant to the visitor while giving the business greater control over regional pricing rules.
A key part of the project was the custom pricing logic. The system supports area-based pricing structures, allowing different locations or service regions to be managed through the back end. Pricing can be adapted around usage levels, making the quote process more flexible than a standard enquiry form.
The system also includes postcode validation to check whether a customer is within a supported service area. Additional API checks help identify existing customers, allowing the quote process to respond more intelligently depending on whether the visitor is new or already known to the business.
The website includes multi-admin functionality, giving different users controlled access to manage relevant parts of the system. This allows administrative tasks to be handled without exposing unnecessary areas of the website or quote logic.
A full back-end reporting area was also developed, giving visibility of activity by area. This helps the business monitor quote demand, regional performance and customer interaction with the system.
The project combines a public-facing WordPress website with bespoke plugin functionality, custom database logic, postcode checking, API integration and administrative reporting. The result is a practical business tool that supports both customer acquisition and internal operational control.
