Google Workspace FAQs

What is Google Workspace?

Google Workspace is Google’s business productivity suite. It includes Gmail for business, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet and other tools designed for communication, storage and collaboration.

Can I keep my existing business email address?

Yes. You can use Google Workspace with your existing domain, so your email address can remain in the same format, such as name@yourbusiness.co.uk.

Do I need one licence for every email address?

Not necessarily. A licence is normally needed for each real user. A user can also have additional email aliases, which can reduce the need for unnecessary extra licences.

Can you migrate existing email?

Yes. We can help plan and carry out email migration from other providers, including hosted email, Microsoft 365, POP/IMAP accounts and other legacy email setups.

Do I need to understand DNS settings?

No. We can handle the DNS records needed to verify your domain and make email work correctly, including MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
