01

Challenge

The business needed a structured way for sales staff and administrators to create, manage, review and approve customer quotes without relying on fragmented manual processes.

02

Solution

A bespoke quote system was developed with multi-level admin control, staged access, end-user approval workflows and remote API connectivity to the client's EPOS system.

03

Outcome

The system provides a more controlled end-to-end quote process, improving visibility, reducing manual handling and supporting a clearer approval route from internal quote creation through to customer acceptance.

This bespoke quote system was developed for a business operating in the LPG and energy sector. The project supported a more structured and controlled sales quotation process.

The system allows quotes to be created, reviewed, managed and approved through a bespoke web-based workflow. Rather than relying on disconnected documents, email trails or manual administration, the quote journey is handled through a centralised application designed around the client’s operational process.

A key part of the project was the development of multi-level administration control. Different users can access different parts of the system depending on their role, allowing sales staff, administrators and management users to work within appropriate permissions.

The system includes staged quote handling, allowing quotes to move through defined steps before being finalised. This helps the business maintain control over pricing, approval and customer communication.

An end-user approval process was also built into the system, allowing customers to review and approve quotes through a controlled online journey. This creates a clearer route from quote preparation to customer acceptance and reduces ambiguity around approval status.

The application also connects remotely to the client’s EPOS system via API integration. This allows quote-related data to interact with existing business systems, reducing duplication and supporting a more joined-up operational workflow.

Overall, the project demonstrates how a bespoke web application can support a business process from end to end: internal quote creation, admin control, staged review, customer approval and integration with existing back-office systems.
